Link a new SKU

You've added a product to your ERP, and GetPrice already collects it from your online shop. Its shop page shows no stock code, so GetPrice couldn't pre-load the link. Link your ERP's SKU to it in three steps.

Find the product#

Search your products by part of the name, case-insensitively. unmapped=true leaves out products that already have a SKU link.

Link it#

PUT your SKU with the product's id. If-None-Match: * makes the call create-only, so you never overwrite a link someone else set.

Response	Meaning
`201 Created`	Linked. The `Location` header points at the new link
`412 precondition_failed`	The SKU is already linked. `GET /v1/sku-mappings/13817L` shows to what
`404 product_not_found`	`product_id` isn't one of your own products
`422 validation_failed`	The body is malformed, such as a missing `product_id`

Without If-None-Match, PUT creates or replaces the link, returning 200 when it replaced one. To replace a link only if nobody changed it since you read it, send its ETag as If-Match.

Use it#

GET /v1/comparison-sets?sku=13817L now returns the pilchards' comparison set.

To remove the link, call DELETE /v1/sku-mappings/13817L. It returns 204, or 404 if the SKU wasn't linked. Removing a link never deletes the product or its comparison set.
